Shooting Clerks is the hilarious true story about a New Jersey convenience store clerk who decided to make a movie about his dead-end job in the very place he worked. Populated with local talent and funded with a stack of questionably scrounged credit cards, Kevin Smith and his misfit friends set out to make something relatable for the over-the-counter culture of 90s America.
Starring over 25 members of the View-Askewniverse, including Smith himself, Shooting Clerks is a cinematic celebration of everyone who helped make it possible, from Jason Mewes and Bryan Johnson, who inspired several events within the movie to Brian O'Halloran and Marilyn Ghigliotti who helped bring Smith's characters to life twenty-five years ago.
